This exercise is the second progression in learning the vibora technique. After developing the lateral and downward arm path by simply throwing a ball, the player now introduces the racket and begins hitting their first shots.
The main objective is to learn how to find the correct contact point, allowing the player to generate the sidespin required for an effective vibora.
This progression also introduces an important habit: moving forwards towards the net immediately after the shot, rather than staying in place to watch the trajectory of the ball.
