This exercise is the third progression in learning the technique of the backhand from the back of the court. After working separately on the racket preparation and then the complete movement without a ball, the player now begins hitting their first shots.
The objective is to reproduce the movement developed previously on easy balls fed by hand by the coach, allowing the player to begin applying the different technical elements while actually hitting the ball.
This allows the player to focus on their technique while progressively developing a flat, controlled backhand down the line.
