To perform an effective guided lob, the player must be able to follow the ball’s trajectory with the whole body, then guide it upwards through one continuous movement.
This exercise is the third stage in learning the technique of the guided lob. After isolating the movement during the first stages, the player will now apply it to easy balls fed by hand.
The objective is to reinforce the upward follow-through of the ball, coordinating the push from the legs with the movement of the racket.
Particular attention is paid to the finishing position of the movement, with the racket hand finishing above the head.
