This exercise is the third progression in learning the X3 smash technique in padel. After working on the wrist movement first without a racket and then with a racket, the player now incorporates this action into short, controlled smashes against the back glass.
The objective is to achieve the highest possible contact point, directly above the head, while maintaining the topspin-generating wrist movement and a follow-through with the tip of the racket pointing downwards.
This progression also reinforces footwork adjustments and the use of the non-dominant arm to point towards the ball, helping the player maintain the correct position at the moment of contact.
